African Bush Elephant
Loxodonta africana
1 m
Length of the erect penis of a fully grown male, given as an approximate upper value ('can reach 100 centimeters'; caption: 'Reaching about 1 meter … when erect'). Method, measurement landmarks and n not stated; species context is the African elephant photo on that page, but the anatomy chapter covers both living elephants.
Prehensile

A fully grown bull's erect penis can reach about 1 m. Its muscles probably bend it into an S, which lets him hook the tip into the cow's vulva; hers sits unusually far forward, in front of the hind legs.
Margin note: Power steering fitted as standard.
