Lowland tapir
Tapirus terrestris
49 cm
Penis length, 'from the bulbourethral gland to the tip of the glans' as reported in a species account; number of animals, state and original source not stated

Writing in 1831, Richard Owen described the American tapir's penis only as 'of great length'. A later species account gives 49 cm, from the bulbourethral gland to the tip.
Margin note: Owen got the ruler out for the caecum, but not for this.
